Movimiento para el Corazón is a collaborative community walk and run bringing together local groups, run clubs, and neighbors to move with purpose and care. This event is focused on collective action, wellness, and supporting immigrant communities through tangible resources.
Funds raised will support essential needs such as grocery assistance, community workshops, and contributions to trusted organizations providing legal aid and advocacy.
This event is grounded in a simple truth: we are stronger together.

International Women’s Day: Acts of Care
About This Event
In honor of International Women’s Day, we will share small acts of care through the distribution of flowers and affirming messages across community spaces. This initiative is to show appreciation to the amazing women who are impacting our community positively, while also supporting local street vendors.

Community Art Class
About This Event
This community art class offers a calm, creative space where participants can express themselves, regulate stress, and connect through art. No prior art experience is needed.
At the end of the class, participants may choose to donate a piece of artwork to support future neurodivergent diagnostic access fundraising.

Community Care and Coffee
About This Gathering
Community Care & Coffee is a relaxed neighborhood meetup created to bring people together around care, connection, and community.
It’s a low-pressure space to meet others who care about uplifting the community, enjoy coffee and pastries, and learn more about Amara Colectiva and the work we’re building together.
Come as you are. Stay for five minutes or the full two hours. There’s no agenda, no expectation to share, and no pressure to participate in anything beyond simply being present.
This gathering is open to anyone who is curious, community-minded, or simply looking for a way to connect.
