I often think about the stress kids feel, the kind that many adults overlook but kids are fully aware of. I wanted to give them a bit of joy and something light to look forward to. I mentioned the idea to my friend Hester Jean Lee, who supports and buys out street vendors, and she immediately offered to help fundraise. We ended up raising over triple our goal and bought from a local costume shop to help boost his sales too. Together, we provided over 100 costumes.

Giving kids, parents, and even the shop owner something to smile about.
