I came up with the idea for this outreach after seeing how hard street vendors and day laborers were working through LA’s summer heat. I organized the effort and reached out to Taste Salud, who donated 100 hydration kits. Our team prepared tortas, water, and hygiene kits to give out. We spent the day walking the streets handing everything out and checking in with people.

Just making sure those who keep our city running were cared for too.
